Shoppers are shown a new confirmation page containing their order information immediately after successfully making a purchase with Bolt Checkout. Each merchant's standard confirmation page is loaded in a hidden iFrame so all tracking pixels and confirmation scripts are undisrupted. The shopper can click continue shopping or on your logo to close Bolt Checkout and continue on the site.
This feature resolves the following issues for your shoppers:
- After a shopper completes checkout, they are redirected to a new page on the merchant’s website to view a confirmation message. There are two major issues with this:
- The redirect can take a few seconds, meaning the shopper is left without knowing whether their order went through.
- You can offer recommendations on this page, but the shopper would need to click-through, add-to-cart, and go through the full buying process again.
- Many corporate and mid-market merchants use default shopping cart platform confirmation pages which only include basic information (ex. Confirmation message, shopper’s email, and order number). After making a purchase, shoppers often want to double-check their address and cart contents to make sure their order will arrive properly.
Note — This feature is available for BigCommerce merchants.

Enabling and Disabling
This feature will be enabled by default. If you wish to disable this feature contact Bolt Support or your Success Manage and tell them to disable the Bolt confirmation page.
Tracking Pixels and Scripts
Tracking pixels and scripts will still work as they did before. After the order goes through, we will immediately display the Bolt confirmation page and load the merchant’s confirmation page in the background to preserve all scripts and tracking.
The shopper will not be able to update their order, on this page, at this time.
You will not be able to provide upsells and product recommendations, on this page, at this time.
