In order to improve checkout conversion, the Bolt checkout experience does not require customers to enter a billing address. Given that billing address is typically a standard checkout field across eCommerce, it may be beneficial to inform your customers that a billing address is not required for checkout.
To that end, Bolt offers you the option to include a banner in the payment stage of your checkout that informs the customer that a billing address is not required. A screenshot of the banner can be found below:
Bolt merchants who have activated this feature have reported fewer support tickets from their customers asking about billing address entry. However, please note that the banner may result in a minor decrease in checkout conversion.
