Edit a User Profile

Note — Your must have administrator permissions to edit or delete a user profile.

User profiles contain several critical data points about the users who have access to your merchant dashboard. In addition to editing user profiles also the User page also allows you to delete a user.

Data controlled via the user profile includes:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Permission Level
  • Email Notifications

To edit a user profile:

  1. Log into the Bolt Merchant Dashboard.
  2. Click Settings at the top of the screen.
  3. Click Users in the dropdown menu. This will open up the user management screen.

  4. Click the Edit link adjacent to the email address of the user whose profile you wish to edit.
  5. Click Edit.

  6. Modify user profile information, such as the user's permission level.
  7. Click Save.
Note — Email addresses cannot be edited. Additionally, First Name, Last Name, and Permission Level cannot be modified if the user is your Primary Administrator.

To delete a user profile:

  1. Log into the Bolt Merchant Dashboard.
  2. Click Settings at the top of the screen.
  3. Click Users in the dropdown menu. This will open up the user management screen.

  4. Click the Delete link adjacent to the email address of the user whose profile you wish to remove.
  5. You will be prompted to confirm the removal.

  6. Click Delete to confirm. The user will be removed.
